HIMALAYATalents

Sweden and Nepal. Growing together since 2019.

Himalaya Talents grew from our own experience of building and managing a technology team in Nepal. The story started with a single internship.

It all started with one internship application.

In 2019 an email landed at Concealed Wines, the Swedish company Himalaya Talents grew out of. A young master's student at the University of Perugia was looking for a six month internship. His name was Momish, and he was from Kathmandu.

The internship went well, and Momish and the founders simply clicked. When the six months were up nobody wanted to stop, so Momish kept working with the team as a consultant, now from Nepal. There was no grand offshore strategy behind it. Just one person worth keeping.

Then came the obvious question: are there more like Momish? There were. Person by person, recommendation by recommendation, the team grew into a real office in Kathmandu with more than twenty people. Since 2025 our consultants also work full time in projects outside the Concealed Wines group, and today the traffic goes both ways. Swedish team members regularly pack their bags and work from the Kathmandu office.

That is why a Swedish company has a subsidiary in Nepal. Not because a spreadsheet said so, but because it grew from people who work well together. Himalaya Talents simply opens that structure to your team.

“We did not start with a strategy document. We started with one person worth keeping. Everything since then has been about finding more people like Momish and treating them well.”

  1. 2019: One application

Momish, a master's student from Kathmandu studying in Perugia, asks Concealed Wines for a six month internship. He gets it.

  2. The first consultant

The internship ends but the collaboration continues. Momish keeps working with the team, now from Nepal.

  3. Person by person

One trusted colleague recommends the next. A real office takes shape in Kathmandu, and the team grows to 20+ people.

  4. 2025: Beyond our own projects

Consultants begin working full time in projects outside the Concealed Wines group. The Himalaya Talents model is born.

  5. Today

A two-way relationship: Swedish team members regularly work from the Kathmandu office, and the model is open to European companies.

The office is real. So are the people.

A few of the colleagues working from the Kathmandu office today. All are locally employed and work daily in the projects you see on this site.
